Mawi A/W '12 at LFW

To celebrate a decade in providing an innovative approach to luxury jewellery, a Mawi retrospective collection is being released for the A/W 2012 season. A true mile stone has been reached, with 20 collections comprised of over 4,000 styles.

The tribute delivers an updated look at the brand's most iconic, classic themes including 'Dynasty', 'Panther', and 'Punk Rajah'.

Precious stones incased in gold hardware housed on the top of delicately moulded cuffs serve as perfect A/W '12 wish list material... and they're even more mesmerising in the flesh.

Snaps of Snappers - London Fashion Week

'Lovely's (very lovely) Vintage Emporium'

Marrying together her love of vintage and online shopping, Fashion and Beauty Journalist Lynnette Peck Bateman decided to indulge in her passion and create a vintage shopping website 'Lovely's Vintage Emporium'. A bazaar of Vintage finds, this really is the Aladdin's cave of pre-loved fashion paraphernalia!

Broken down into trends, there's no more endless trawling through reams of sequins and mohair, when you're actually after polka dots. Oh no.

Enabling shoppers to shop according to size or era makes for a fuss-free experience, ensuring that you won't fall in love with something that's two sizes too small for you.... No matter what positions/breathing exercises you implement to get it on...Trust.

Anyway, here's a selection of my faves currently on the website!

Vogue Russia, Cosmopolitan and The Telegraph have been the latest to feature the Emporium on their pages, and with pieces being sported by numerous London Fashion Week goers this season, you should go and check it out for yourselves! -You'll be in great company.

Vice on Eliza Palomino

Absolutley LOVE Vice on Eliza Palomino:

"Who: Designer Eliza Palomino has worked for Galliano, Cavalli, Diane Von Furstenberg, and Moschino, so why haven’t you heard of her? Because she makes clothes for ex-cybergoths who have internet only boyfriends and collect Japanese girly shit. This collection was called Crystal Flowers and appeared to be inspired by a pencil case I had when I was 13.

What: Lipsy fucks Tim Burton and their kid goes to Ascot. Really beautifully cut devore velvet, chiffon, and silk was let down by that eternally menopausal combination of black and fuchsia. Super-slim appliquéd velvet slips were a saving grace."

With Love from Chanel

Love this genius little idea by Chanel (Who else??)

Stud Jacket

So, I'm back. Minus the dissertation blues (handed in on Friday! *high five*) and plus a lovely new jacket.
A few years ago, I came across this picture of Mary Kate Olsen. I have been obsessed with getting some studded sleeves to call my own ever since, and have been searching for a similar one for so long now!

I've really wanted to get my hands on a new box jacket for a while. They're so flattering, and tailored pieces always sit so well on top of my flouncy dresses and wardrobe full of basics. So when I came across a bunch of large gold studs in my local haberdashery just after bagging myself a bargain box jacket from Primark no less... I decided to marry the two.

Here is the result of my shopping trip:

I'm unsure wether to add another 2/3 rows of studs..Or just leave it as it is? I'd love your thoughts!

Total Cost: £32.. Not too shabby!
